How to Get Involved In The Foothills CI Prison Ministry
Be a Prayer Partner with us
As we cover all Kairos Activities in Prayer, we have a prayer vigil that goes on for the entire weekend starting Thursday evening then running 24 hours a day through to Sunday afternoon. We ask volunteers to sign up for one of the time slots and pray for both the inmates and our ministry.
During our weekend with the inmates we show them a Prayer Wheel that shows during every hour of the weekend and all the people that have signed up to pray for them. This can be powerful and moving for many of the inmates because many of them have never had anyone to pray for them.

Be a Team Member
Kairos volunteers come from all walks of life and christian denominations. They all share a desire to follow Jesus Christ's admonition of Matthew 25:36, "I was in prison and you visited me." Be a Cookie Servant
We need up to 2,400 packages of cookies for a typical Kairos weekend. Each day of the 3 day weekend we visit each pod / cell in the institution to share cookies and share kind words & prayer.
